I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's bout.

Ex twice world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making huge earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
