Real Madrid's winger Offers Sincere Sorry to Real Madrid Supporters

The forward has scored 5 strikes in 10 Spanish league outings so far this term.

Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr has apologised to supporters for his response when taken off in the recent intense El Clasico triumph.

The Brazilian was replaced in the 72nd minute and showed his disappointment by going straight down the tunnel.

Vinicius later returned to the dugout and, following his team's 2-1 win, sought to engage Barcelona's Lamine Yamal during contentious final whistle exchanges.

"Now I want to express regret to all the Real Madrid fans for my reaction when I was substituted in the Clasico," the player posted on social media.

"In the same way as I have previously expressed during the latest training, I would like to apologise again to my teammates, the organization, and the club president.

"Sometimes passion gets the better of me because I continuously aim to win and support my team. My determined nature originates in the love I hold for this institution and each thing it symbolizes."

Vinicius moved to the Spanish capital from Brazil in 2018 for millions and has notched over a century of strikes in numerous matches.

But his career in the Spanish capital is unclear with speculation in the past few months stating that the club would consider letting the 25-year-old leave if they obtained a good proposal.

When the winger was taken off on Sunday, cameras from coverage provider Dazn picked him up remarking: "Always me! I'm departing the side! It's wiser if I depart, I'm moving on."

In his latest message on social media, the athlete said: "I commit to keep striving constantly for the welfare of Real Madrid, as I have done since the very beginning."
